It can be difficult for some schoolchildren to find a company that will take them on.
At JJA, through commitment #9 of our ambition The Good Living ProjectWe want to work with and for our communities. It was with this in mind that we had the pleasure of welcoming middle-school students to our premises for an internship at the heart of our day-to-day operations.
Three promotions were lucky enough to share a working week with our employees. A complete program had been carefully prepared for them, so that they could fully experience these 5 days of immersion at JJA.
They were able to discover 20 of our businesses, our products and our friendly headquarters with its offices and showrooms.
Our restaurant l'Atelier has transformed their regular canteen - every day our chef Frédéric prepares exceptional menus.
We wanted to give them an unusual experience by giving free rein to their creativity. To achieve this, they were given a mission during the week: "to imagine and design the classroom of their dreams".
They worked as a team and met this challenge with brio, and we were delighted with the projects they came up with. Pencils, 3D applications, furniture design, research into textile and color trends, sensitivity to environmental issues and the quality of life of schoolchildren, have transformed them into true designers, interior architects, stylists, CSR managers and Happiness Officers.
The week ended with a presentation of their project in the presence of the employees who had accompanied them, the CEO of JJA, the deputy mayor of Gonesse responsible for youth and his team, who had made the trip especially for the occasion.
The jury was impressed by their project and their talent as speakers. Who knows, maybe some of their ideas will be taken up again?
We shared an incredible human experience.
We're looking forward to seeing the next batch of students, and to seeing those for whom this week has sparked a future vocation, return to JJA.
A big THANK YOU to all the employees who took part in this project.
