Designer Home Atmosphera

How is a piece of furniture born that will leave its mark on our interiors? Mathieu, in-house designer for the Atmosphera brand, Créateur d'intérieur®, opens the doors to his creative process. A journey from pencil sketch to finished product, where every detail counts.

Good design doesn't just look good. «At Atmosphera, our aim is to offer beautiful and useful design, always at a fair price,» explains Mathieu, the brand's in-house designer. On a daily basis, he collaborates with the style and offer teams to create products that meet the trends and needs of each range.

From drawing to 3D

Every project begins with a pencil stroke. «I always use drawings. It's often the best basis for exchanging ideas in meetings,» says Mathieu. Then comes 3D modeling to optimize volumes and refine technical and functional aspects.

The art of optimized manufacturing

But Mathieu's work doesn't stop with the concept. He works closely with suppliers to optimize manufacturing, taking into account multiple constraints: use, packaging, transport, standards, ease of assembly. «From the first pencil stroke to the finished product, I can follow every step. And that's really rewarding for a designer.»

The result of this attention to every step is pieces that tell a story and naturally find their place in our interiors.
