Three parameters are essential: temperature, calm and darkness. Temperature is absolutely crucial, because above 20 degrees, the body has difficulty lowering its own temperature, which is essential for falling asleep - and staying asleep.\u00a0<br \/><\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The bedroom should be dedicated to sleep: no desks, no electronic equipment, no storage boxes... And keep the Wi-Fi terminal away, ideally turned off at night!\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As for darkness, it's crucial for the production of melatonin, the sleep hormone. Not only is it useless before this age, it can also disrupt sleep. Toddlers are not afraid of the dark. It's better to opt for low elements, such as a pretty rug, which will stimulate the child when he's playing, but not when he's lying down!\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Also, beware of objects that combine light and music, which are ultra-stimulating and focus the child's attention in the same way as a screen.
